Deer & Elk's musical repertoire features classic country artists such as Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, and Loretta Lynn, alongside those who carried the torch like Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, and Brooks & Dunn. With the blend of carefully curated covers as well as their own terrific original songs, Deer & Elk have woven together a sound that is somehow completely unique, yet quintessentially classic.

While the band usually appears as a duo featuring Jeffery Gower (vocals/guitar) and Jason Lantrip (guitar/backing vocals), Deer & Elk has also begun working as a full band featuring a brand new rhythm section.

Deer & Elk were even announced as one of Lansing’s finest country acts as part of the Lansing City Pulse’s Top Of The Town Series.
